Instrumental Passion

I'm fallin' off the edge, I have no more control, I think I hit my head, I know I lost my soul, the devil can be cruel, Ive never lost my way, I've lost it twice today, the memories I have, will soon begin to fade.
in spite of all the fear, I still am standing here, I still am standing tall, no longer will I fall, I no longer feel small, today's another day, tomorrow never came, life is only twisted, if you choose to play the game.

Paradise
Since 1996 a British rock band has been taking over the world, this band was originally called Starfish, but then quickly changed their name to Coldplay. Now me personally I've never enjoyed Coldplay, but to be fair I've never enjoyed any music like it as well. Single after single put out by the group I've heard the first note and changed the song. It's how it has always been. However with the release of their new album Mylo Xyloto, one song stuck out to me, one song started playing and continued through the end and was then repeated over and over, that song is Paradise. If you're not a fan of Coldplay you will be now, even if it's just for this song. The music, the lyrics, and everything about the song makes it great and turned me into a fan. You never know, I might start to like even more songs by them and other bands alike. But for now I will just live in Paradise.

MAN OVERBOARD
The year 1992 wasn't just the year of my birth, but was also the year of the formation of a band that has made a big mark on me. When Tom Delonge and Mark Hoppus met is was like magic, and when they began to play music together along with Scott Raynor the magic transformed into something special. Although it wasn't until the beloved and extremely talented drummer Travis Barker joined the band that they reached the fame they enjoy basking in today, they still loved to play and create music as they still love to do today. It may have taken them a few years to get big but once they got there they never left, and even their older songs like Dammit, Josie, and Carousel, which were all written with Scott on drums, became well known songs by the group. Their poppy punk sound was unique and amazing, their careless attitude(for everything but the music), dirty jokes, and the more than brief nudity, created a fan base beyond almost all others. The big day out show was their best by far, Tom was sweaty, Mark was all smiles, and Travis, well Travis was just being Travis. In 2003 they didn't just create art, they created a masterpiece with their self-titled album with hits like Feeling This and I Miss You. And although that led to the abrupt and unforeseen break up of blink-182 the fans never gave up hope the band would one day reunite, but not in the way that it had happened with Travis Barker's near death plane crash bringing the band back together and on talking terms. Now with the release of their first album in over eight years blink-182 is officially back, and for the first time in my life I got to see them, live.

Angels and Airwaves Part II
In the eyes of the vocalist Tom Delonge, Angels and Airwaves is a masterpiece, and some might agree when they get a look at the line up standing closely behind him. Guitarist David Kennedy was in the band Box Car Racer, a side project that Tom and Travis from blink-182 created for about a year, Bassist Ryan Sinn played in the Distillers but was soon replaced by Matt Wachter from 30 Seconds to Mars, and Drummer Atom Willard from The Offspring, who just recently left the band and who's place was taken by the former drummer of Nine Inch Nails Ilan Rubin. With the departure of one of the main members of the group and the reformation of blink-182, it gives Angels and Airwaves a new look, and it makes you think how much longer it will continue, but as we see it now, Angels and Airwaves isn't going anywhere. With Tom's dedication to 2 bands, as well as the release of Love Part II, it makes you think if it will affect his music both in blink-182 and in Angels and Airwaves, but in my opinion the music is amazing. Love Part II recently leaked and it was one of the best albums AVA has created with great sounds and great lyrics. With everything going on in Angels and Airwaves they embark on a new chapter............a Part II.
